Happy Friday BWE,

What a week we've had at BWE! We started the week with a surprise visit from Orbit that our students thoroughly enjoyed. Our silent auction winners for Pizza with the Principals joined us for lunch on Tuesday. We had three days of Big Picture Planning for teachers and finalized our last field trips. Now we walk into the weekend anxiously, hoping for snow in Texas! See you tonight at Boys and Bikes!

Deliveries (forgotten items & lunches) may be placed on the cart, just inside the front entry doors.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

TARDIES & EARLY SIGN OUT

Students arriving after 7:55 a.m. are marked tardy. Early check-out ends @ 2:30 p.m.

TRANSPORTATION CHANGES

All transportation changes should be emailed to birnhamwoods@conroeisd.net.

Changes must be received by 2 p.m.

CISD PK-6 Cell Phone & Smart Watch Guidelines

Cell phones and smartwatches may be used respectfully and responsibly before school and after school.
Cell phones and smartwatches should not be used to capture video, audio, or images at school or on the bus.
Cell phones and smartwatches should be set on silent mode and kept in backpacks, lockers, or other designated storage areas and should not be visible during school hours including instructional time, reward time, free time, lunch, and in the hallways.
Use of cell phones and smartwatches may be permitted in extenuating circumstances with permission from a staff member (ex. to notify parent/ guardian of a late bus).

BIRTHDAYS

Birthdays are the best days and we love to celebrate at BWE! We do not however, host birthday parties at school. Parents may send gift bags of inedible items (pencils, bubbles, party favors) for students to share with their class. Edible items may be sent, inedible items are preferred. Due to allergies and dietary restrictions, edible items MUST be store bought with a legible nutrition label.
