Welcome to October! We have had a busy fall so far with more exciting events to come. See below for Jay Shideler October updates!

Blue Jay Dash

Our students had an amazing time participating in our first ever Blue Jay Dash! Thanks to you and your generous donations we raised over $36,758 to help us revitalize our courtyard! We will continue our work with local landscapers to develop a finalized plan for the space. We appreciate your support!

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent teacher conferences are coming up on October 16th and 17th. This is a great opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher and discuss how the year is progressing. Teachers sent home conference scheduling flyers home on September 24th. Please indicate your preferred time for your conference and return to your child’s teacher by October 1st.

Sock Hop

Join us for a fun family night at Sock Hop on Thursday, October 10th from 5:30-8:00 PM. Play games, shop the silent auction, and choose a delicious baked good to take home.


Information will be coming home soon to purchase wristbands for food and raffle tickets.

We finished the month of September and showing the character trait Cooperation. We celebrated so many Cooperation Rockstars this month! We are proud of them for working together!
