This is a special dedicated time for our enrichment program, CATS Academy (Creative Arts, Technology, and Science). We urge all parents to try to not pick students up early on Fridays during CATS Academy time. All the kids love this time and will lose the instruction and the special projects or experiments. Lost CATS time cannot be made up.

Eat at Presto Pasta on Thursday, September 19th, 2024 and they will donate 20% of your total bill to our Crestview Elementary Fundraiser. Only valid on dine in or take out not 3rd party apps. Simply show printed flyer or display on your phone. Flyers may not be distributed at Presto Pasta.

Presto Pasta is located at 1860 Erringer Rd, Simi Valley, CA 93065. Hours are 10:30a.m. - 9:00p.m.

It is important that all students attend every day and that they arrive before the 8:00a.m. start bell. Some crucial instruction cannot be made up or reviewed. This can lead to gaps in reaching or mastering the standards of the student's grade level.

If your child is absent or you know your child will miss school, please call the attendance line at (805) 520-6715, option 1. Be sure to include your child's name, teacher or room number and most importantly, the reason for the absence. Absences must be verified within 5 day or they become truant mark on your child's attendance record.

Now until September 26, Simi Institute is offering free back-to-school haircuts for students of Simi Valley Unified School District. Don't wait to freshen up your look for Fall!

Insurance coverage is offered to all our families to protect their child's school device. Click below to sign up there should something happen to you child's school device. This year's low cost is $61.00. The deadline for current students to enroll in the Protection Plan for district issued devices is September 30, 2023.

Sign ups for trunks are available! Don't miss out - there are only 20 spots available! Parents can also help with candy donations. It's easy and fast. We want this to be a great success for the kids! Please help where you can. Thank you!!!

I hope you are enjoying the cooler weather as much as I am... it's starting to feel like Fall!

We have our second Restaurant Night fundraiser coming up this Thursday, September 19 at Presto Pasta. Our last one was a huge success and I look forward to seeing you at this next one!

Our Staff Appreciation chairperson has been working on a few fun treats for our hardworking Crestview team. We are collecting small $5-10 gift cards for our two amazing custodians to present to them on Custodian Appreciation Day (October 2). We are also looking for a few volunteers each month to sign up to bring goodies for our monthly "Fri-YAY" celebrations where we treat our staff to coffees, breakfast items, protein bars, or other yummy snacks. We'd also be able to accept a gift card to a local shop or grocery store and a PTA member can happily purchase the treats for our staff on your behalf!
