Students and staff are encouraged to wear orange to promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
School counselors and social-emotional learning specialists will also provide lessons on "Self-Direct," focusing on activities that encourage students to think, choose, and act in ways that guide them toward who they want to be.
The fall season action is ramping up. Congratulations to the Ellison, Harker Heights and Shoemaker tennis squads, which qualified for the fall team tennis playoffs. At the middle school level, football, volleyball and cross country teams are competing hard each week.
