PTO Spring Fundraiser - Slice the Price with Dominoes

January 7th - January 21st

Our Fall PTO Fundraiser begins Tuesday. Information packets will come home with your student Tuesday, January 7th.

Outside of their tiered student prizes, participants that sell at least 15 cards, get one for FREE! Also, our teachers can benefit with each teacher with at least 5 participants will receive a FREE Slice the Price Card.

Things to remember:

-The cards sell for $20.00 each (half of that money comes right back to our school!)

-Cards are valid until December 31, 2025 & can be used an unlimited number of times.

-These are great for parties - you can order 10 large pizzas and get 10 large pizzas for free!

-Everything ordered ONLINE is shipped directly to the purchaser, whereas anything ordered through the order form will be returned to us to distribute to the families about 3 weeks after the closing of the fundraiser.

-Once parents have registered their students, their progress can be tracked on the dashboard - allowing them to see how their student's fundraising compares to other students (healthy competition)

The Importance of Sleep

Did you know that children ages 5-12 years old need 10 to 11 hours of sleep a night? If you don’t get enough sleep your brain doesn’t function normally, it can be difficult to perform usually easy tasks, and your immune system can be affected! There is no better time than flu season to keep your body healthy. Here are some tips to help make sure your child is getting enough sleep:

Go to bed at generally the same time each night.
Follow a bedtime routine that is calm and helps the body relax and get ready for sleep.
Limit sugary foods and drinks with caffeine, especially in the evening time.
Avoid all screens an hour or two before bedtime.

Let’s make sure all of our students are bright-eyed, healthy, and ready to learn!

2025-2026 Calendar Feedback Requested

Conroe ISD’s 2025-2026 calendar has a different Spring Break than Lone Star College and other Texas universities. The calendars for many institutions had not been publicly released when the Board of Trustees approved the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 calendars in January of 2024. The table below shows the Spring Break weeks of area school districts along with Lone Star College and other Texas universities.

Please respond to the brief, linked survey by Friday, January 17, at noon to provide feedback to the Board of Trustees on whether you want Conroe ISD’s Spring Break to remain the week of March 9 - 13, 2026 or move to the week of March 16 - 20, 2026. They will use the provided feedback to inform their decision.

Note: There are no changes to the current school year’s calendar. Spring Break for the 2024-2025 school year is March 10-14, 2025.
