Chelsea Center
Experiential Education Opportunities for ALL students
Current Juniors interested in government or politics should consider applying for these upcoming summer 2025 opportunities for Girls and Boys State. Students will receive experiential education on democratic government structures and the American political process through a creative simulation of government. This is an overnight program on the campus of Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO June 21 - 28, 2025.
Students who participate in the program could earn elective credit. Chelsea Center will also fund the experience.
Students must be in their junior year when they apply. The early application deadline is Jan. 31st, and the regular application deadline is April 2. Students who want to learn more or be connected with past participants to hear about their experiences can stop by the Chelsea Center. Student registration is at wgsd.givepulse.com.
Reminder: We can help students who are pursuing their A+ hours find connections to service learning that include the mentorship or job shadowing components the A+ program requires. Have your students stop by to talk with us, or independently explore their GivePulse account opportunity listings at wgsd.givepulse.com.
