The eLeader
The official digital newsletter of La Porte ISD
Greetings, La Porte ISD Family. Today is a great day to be a Bulldog!
I hope this letter finds you enjoying the warmth and joy of summer. As we embrace these sun-filled days, I wanted to take a moment to connect with each of you.
First, whether it's relaxation by the beach or adventures in the great outdoors, I hope that these summer months bring you rejuvenation and happiness. There are plenty of summer camps and activities available for our students. These experiences offer not only fun and excitement but also opportunities for skill-building and social development. I encourage you to explore the options available and help our young learners make the most of their summer break.
I am excited to announce that registration for new students has officially opened. It's an opportunity for us to welcome new faces into our community, enriching our schools with diverse perspectives and talents. If you know of anyone who might benefit from our educational programs, please encourage them to reach out and join us on this journey of learning and growth. They do not have to live in our district to attend school here. Registration information for new and returning students is available here.
As always, your support and involvement in our schools are invaluable. Together, we can continue to create a nurturing and enriching environment for our students to thrive. I wish all of you a wonderful summer ahead.
With La Porte pride,
Walter Jackson, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
