Happy Summer!
Happy Summer to Everyone!
Congratulations to our Class of 2024 ! We experienced the first graduation ceremony at night under the lights at NRHS! It was a beautiful ceremony. The student speeches were so well-written and delivered - the pride was palpable as the students spoke with honesty, authenticity, pride, and reflection. Iām confident that every one of our graduates is destined to do amazing things as they move forward on their life journey, beyond our Nauset doors!
This morning was our send-off for our Grade 8 class at NRMS, as they prepare to become high school freshmen. That, too, was a wonderful ceremony. The student speakers at NRMS also wrote and delivered outstanding speeches. We are fiercely proud of our grade 8 class and our seniors!
As an NPS family of schools, we take pride in all we do, and all that our students do. These two ceremonies were outstanding examples of the hard work and resources that we put in as a collective community, a staff, individual families, and of course, the students themselves. Congratulations to all!
As we continue to move forward as a district, we see the benefits of our collective team efforts. We have continued to work regarding the implementation of our strategic plan and have tied in multiple efforts with Deeper Learning, Belonging with Dignity, RULER (specific to work at Eastham Elementary School), the establishment of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Support), etc. All of these efforts continue to support our movement forward with the NPS Strategic Plan, and we are seeing success. Thank you to all of you who have played an active role in bringing these initiatives, and others across NPS, to life!
Thank you to every member of our Nauset team - thank you for helping us when we have been hurt, for making sure that we have good food in our tummies, for ensuring that our schools are clean and running well, for guiding us in areas of specialization that we might not know about or understand, for navigating our IT worlds, and for ensuring that we have solid budgets in place to have all of the resources available that we need. Thank you to every member of our staff across NPS - we are so appreciative of all that you do!
We wish everyone a happy, healthy, and restful summer. There is nothing like summer on the Cape - let the Summer begin!!
Enjoy!
Yours in Partnership,
Superintendent Brooke Clenchy
