First Day of School- Buses
As always, the first day of school is usually met with some challenges. Most importantly, we need to make sure that we prioritize safety over efficiency. Thank you for your patience on the first couple of days as we work through any challenges with our buses and schedules in order to be sure everyone is safe. Please have students at the bus stop 10 minutes early and be there 10 minutes early to retrieve your child as well. However, please understand that buses may be late these first couple of days.

Events at College of Lake County for 3rd through 5th Grade Students
CLC is having events to celebrate Latinx Heritage Month for students in grades 3-5, free admission to some theatrical productions. There are also scholarships available for transportation.

Picture Day for students and staff is on Thursday, August 29th. Please see the document attached below for more information. There is a flyer coming home as well.

8/21- 5th Grade Camp Duncan Information Meeting (6:00pm at MG in the big gym), 5th Grade Band Registration (Lunchroom) Last Names A-L from 4:30-6:00pm, Last Names M-Z (6:30-8:00pm)
8/26- Curriculum Night at MG (6:00-7:15pm)
8/29- Picture Day :)
9/2- NO SCHOOL
9/4- 5th Grade morning band begins, PTO Meeting (7:00pm at CSMS)
9/6- BRAT FEST at CSMS (5:00-8:0pm)- Details to come
