Throughout his amazing tenure, Arden has served thousands of students throughout Northeast PA. Arden was honored at our June board meeting with a whole milk toast. Cheers to Arden for a dedicated and memorable career!
Learning Campus Graduation..
Students from our Dunmore Learning Campus recently had their graduation ceremony. Attached are pictures of the students celebrating their important day!
Early Intervention..
Early Intervention staff had an unforgettable in-service day in collaboration with the Scranton School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children, blending professional development with hands-on, heartfelt experiences. The team explored new American Sign Language (ASL) vocabulary to better connect with the children and families they support. A truly unique highlight was meeting live alpacas. Staff learned how to feed them using a "carrot kiss". This was a fun, sensory-friendly activity perfect for building communication and connection. Team members also proudly presented their Professional Learning Path Projects, showcasing their dedication, creativity, and passion for supporting every child's unique journey.
Educational Programs and Services..
BT Lively collaborated with the NEIU 19 MDS Classrooms at North Pocono and Abington Heights to bring STEM programming to our students. Through 10 weeks of scaffolded lessons, students participated in a series of STEM activities aimed at connecting their learning experiences with hands-on, engaging lessons. This ongoing partnership aims to enhance STEM education for students in the region and foster increased interdepartmental collaboration within NEIU 19.
