Mansfeld STEM+ Highlights
i-Ready info for Parents and Guardians
Did you know that each Mansfeld student has access to an amazing educational resource called i-Ready?
This digital tool measures each student’s individual learning level in math and reading at the beginning of the year. With that info, we are able to provide custom digital lessons that are suited to math and reading strengths and areas of growth. Students are given targeted lessons, based off their needs, called MyPath lessons, and are expected to complete 45 min of practice each week in both math and reading to enhance their learning. This practice can be done at school and/or assigned as homework. Ask your student’s math or ELA teacher for more information about MyPath lessons.
You also play a critical role in your student’s success with i-Ready. Have your student use their iPad to show you how much learning progress they have already made this year! We just completed the mid-year diagnostic and many students have had amazing gains! Students with at least 40% progress towards their individual growth goal will receive free dress day(s) as a reward- specific info and dates coming soon!
Visit the Family Center for more information on i-Ready and how you can motivate your student at home: i-ReadyCentral.com/FamilyCenter

Palo Verde Future Titan Night!
Future Titan Night event, which is taking place on Tuesday, March 25th, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. (doors will open at 5:15 p.m). This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about Palo Verde and get a taste of what Titan Life is all about.
Whether you know for sure that you will be a Titan next year, or if you’re still trying to decide on the perfect high school for you – this is the event to attend! Those who register in advance will receive a special Titan Gift Bag upon entry!
We have a motto here at Palo Verde High Magnet School – Be 212°! At 211° water is hot. At 212°, it boils. And with boiling water, comes STEAM. And with STEAM, you have the ability to power a locomotive. Titans go that extra degree! We are proud to be a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) Magnet High School and look forward to the opportunity to meet you!
