Happy Monday!
Apologies for the late update! It’s been a busy week with testing and prepping for the upcoming month, but we’re excited to see you all again at the Chuck E. Cheese fundraiser this Thursday! Also, a big thank you to everyone who attended our very successful Open House last Thursday – we truly appreciate your support. We hope you all enjoyed seeing your child’s work and visiting our wonderful staff members.
Thank you for your dedication, hard work, and unwavering support.
Ms. Claudia Garza, Principal
Important Message From the Attendance Office!
Mad for Awesome Attendance!
Here’s a quick update for you:
We want to give a big shoutout to everyone who’s been showing up ready and on time for March Madness! We’re extremely proud of the effort so far. Let’s keep up the momentum and continue this strong attendance through the rest of the month, especially leading into the days before spring break. Keep it up!
Special Message from Mr. Mark Hernandez
At school, every minute counts! Consistent attendance is key to your child's success, as each lesson builds on the next. When students are present, they have the chance to fully engage, learn, and grow alongside their peers. Missing even a small amount of time can mean missing out on important concepts or opportunities to practice skills. Missing just 2 days a month means you miss 10% of the school year. We strongly encourage you to help your child make the most of every school day, as their attendance directly contributes to their overall progress and achievement. Your support in ensuring they’re here and ready to learn makes all the difference.
Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow!
From The Attendance Office 📝
- Instruction begins at 8:00 a.m., tardy slips will be given to any student arriving after 8:05 a.m.
- Tardy and attendance notification letters will be sent out as of next week to parents/guardians.
- Excused and unexcused absences: For any absence, please notify the front office. Send a written excuse or doctor's note upon returning to school. Students have three days after returning to school to submit a written excuse, otherwise the absence is unexcused.
Daily Attendance, Lets Make It Count
Morning Drop Off 🚗
- Our campus opens its doors at 7: 00 am.
- The most congested time for drop off is from 7:40 am to 8:00 am.
- We ask parents not to get down on the drop off lane because it backs up traffic.
- If you foresee your child not being ready for drop off, please proceed to the very front of the line to allow traffic to continue through.
Visitors 💼
Visitors: Legal identification is required for campus entry screening during the school day. Students will not be released to anyone without a proper ID or if individual is not on the pickup list.
Drop-off Items: We ask no items be dropped off during school hours.
Guard Shack: Please be ready to show legal form of identification when stopping at our guard shack. The guard will raptor all incoming traffic starting at 8:05 a.m. on a daily basis. ****The guard shack will be closed off in case there is a drill being conducted on campus.
