First Full Week in the books!
Our students had so much fun at our all-school assembly last week on Friday! Our theme this year is superheros! Students were applauded for completing all of last week's "superhero trainings" (aka: learning the school expectations), and each class got formally announced to the school with their classroom's "superhero name!" Ask your child what their fun name was!
As we get into the school year, communication is going to be key, and it goes both ways! Please know that we will always do our best to communicate important information with you at the school level, along with progress and updates on how your child is doing from their teachers. Please never hesitate to reach out at any time with questions, concerns, ideas, and suggestions. We know from years experience that together we are better! We appreciate a strong family-school partnership, which sets the tone for student success.

Spartan Star Book Machine!
πEach student gets to pay a special visit to our "Spartan Star Book Machine" on their birthday! This repurposed vending machine was funded by a combination of Kohl Funds (from our award-winner 2nd Grade Teacher Mrs. Wisniewski), along with Scholastic Book Fair funds provided by School Librarian Mrs. Martin.
πͺOn their birthdays, students names are read over morning announcements. They then get to go to the office to get their special gold token from Mrs. Niebuhr, which they use to pick out their very own book to keep from the book machine!
βοΈSummer birthday? Not to fear! We recognize students with summer birthdays on their half-birthday during the school year!
