From the Principal.....Please talk to your student

As many of you may know, there is trend gaining momentum on social media that is called "devious licks". Students are vandalizing and stealing from schools. The incidents have been primarily in student restrooms, but schools have also seen projectors, remote controls, and science equipment stolen. This destructive trend has started happening in Northwest Arkansas, Springdale, and now has started tiptoeing its way into Hellstern.

Please talk to your students about the seriousness of this behavior. All incidents of vandalism and theft will be reported to the school resource officer and students involved will be subject to school discipline. We need your help to be proactive and make sure students understand the potential consequences. Our school-community deserves better than this and our students are better than this.

Sponsor our teachers' meals during conferences!

Our middle school conferences will be on Monday & Tuesday next week (Sept. 27 & 28). Teachers work long days to ensure that you get a chance to meet about your student. Please consider sponsoring a teachers' meals one of those nights. You can do this by visiting the PTO store.

Band Car Wash is Sept. 20th from 8-5pm. CJHS & HMS students will be there from 11-2pm! (Speedy Splash, Elm Springs Exit)

Staff of the Month

Both students AND parents can nominate any staff member in our building for "Staff Member of the Month" at any time. To do this, you would visit our school webpage, click on the "Counselor Corner" and find the link....which is also HERE.
