A bulletin for families of after school kids
It was wonderful to see so many parents at our virtual parent orientation on August 22. Thank you for joining us! All schools will also be holding an in-person Parent Orientation from 5:30-6:00pm between now and September 20. Be on the look out at your After School Site for information on their in-person parent orientation. Here is a PDF of the virtual parent orientation.
After School Program: We are continuing to add students to the after school program as space allows. The Extended Learning Team will call you when we can add your child to a group. Thank you for your patience.

Signing out your student from After School:
Absences & Early Dismissal
- If your child will be absent, please call the after school program team (three unexcused absences will result in removal from the program). The numbers to call are in the image above.
- When you sign your child out before 5:50, you must circle a reason. Ask the site assistant if you need help choosing a reason.
- When your child attends alternate enrichment programs please make sure you provide us with proper documentation and complete an early release form.
- Please make sure you circle a reason why and if needed, explain your child’s early release in the sign out sheet.
Your support with this helps us with our grant accountability and compliance for the grant funding.
- Sports: Our 5th and 6th grade sports program has officially launched! Parents who plan on attending our Friday games, please be sure to complete a Parent Code of Conduct form and give it to our after school program personnel at your site. Remember to model good sportsmanship at games and cheer for both teams. Please refer to the sports game schedule below for Friday game locations. Our volleyball jamboree is scheduled for Saturday, September 28. (More details to come on ParentSquare.) Our students are super excited and we hope to see you all there!
Saturday Programs- We have officially kicked off our first week of Saturday programs! Next week is week 2 of our program and students will be brainstorming and critically thinking, if they were to invent something, what would it be?
