Band Forms & Fees - Due Friday August, 23rd
If you have not yet had a chance to complete our forms, please do so by this Friday. There may be some confusion on what you need to complete, so please review them below:
- Student Travel Release - this was a paper form handed out on the first day of school. If you did not receive one from your child, you can print one here and return it to us. It is required for all PISD students who ever ride on a bus at any point throughout the year in bands.
Band forms: Everyone must complete all sections of this google form. Part of the purpose of this form is agreeing that you understand the guidelines and procedures for our band classes in our handbook. I have linked the handbook below this post for your convenience.
Band Fees (T-Shirt Fee): Linked is “Student Quick Pay” which is our district website where you can pay by card for several different things including our band shirt. Our band shirt is a required supply for all students as it is what we wear to all of our performances. You will provide the T-Shirt size in the band forms. Here is a link on how to use student quick pay.
Instrument Usage Form: This is a link to anyone using a school-owned instrument: oboes, bassoons, french horns, euphoniums, and tubas must complete this form and pay the annual fee.
Band Hoodies & Extra Shirts on Sale now!
If you would like a hoodie (new color this year), or an extra band shirt, please visit the store below. The store closes on September 2. This is the only opportunity to purchase them this year.
Beginning Band Social Event - Altitude, Wednesday, August 28
Our first social event of the year for our Beginning Band members is next Wednesday. Please see the flyer below for more details.

Beginning Band Wind Instrument Supply List
The winds link is for all wind instruments: flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium, & tuba. Scroll down on the document to find the supply page you need.
Beginning Band Percussion Supply List
All supplies will be needed throughout the year, but if you may delay the purchase of timpani mallets (not used until Spring semester) and the rental marimba (not used until September).
These local stores will have the supplies that you need. Some stores you can even purchase online without visiting in person. These stores should also be able deliver the supplies for you to the school if necessary.

Linked below is the summer letter that went out in May. There are some new supplies included within. Students still need all of the supplies from their beginner year except the beginning band book and mirror. Please see the "Beginning Band" supply lists linked above for instrument specific supplies.
