Principal's Message
Comprehensive Needs Assessment & Alice in Wonderland
Dear Clyde W. Needham Families,
As we enter Quarter 3 at Clyde W. Needham Elementary School, we anticipate a bustling season ahead with several noteworthy events:
Comprehensive Needs Assessment
It's that time of year for our comprehensive needs assessment, crucial for optimizing our school's operations. We value input from staff, teachers, students, and parents on what's working well and what additional improvements are needed at CW Needham. We will be reaching out to families to participate. On January 29, we will invite up to 8 parents to join us at Clyde W. Needham Elementary School to share their insights. Interested? Please contact Brittany Crusto at 209-331-7375 or email bcrusto@lodiusd.net.
Missoula Children's Theater Production of Alice in Wonderland
We're thrilled to introduce a new opportunity for our students this year! From March 3 to March 8, Clyde W. Needham will collaborate with Missoula Children's Theater to stage a full production of Alice in Wonderland. Auditions will kick off on Monday, March 3, followed by rehearsals throughout the week, culminating in two performances on Saturday, March 8. All rehearsals will take place after school, and participation is open to all students, not just those enrolled in the bridge program. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting endeavor!
Wishing all our Needham Knights peace and blessings,
Sonja Renhult
Proud Principal of Clyde W. Needham Elementary School

CW Needham's English Learner students will begin completing the Summative ELPAC Assessment. We should complete summative ELPAC assessment for all EL students in grades 3 - 6 by March 14, 2025. We do this so that all of our 3rd-6th grade students can focus on the state assessments April 14 - May 2, 2025. Our Kinder - 2nd grade students will complete the ELPAC assessment once grades 3-6 have completed it.

CW Needham's 3rd - 6th grade students will show how much they have learned this year by taking the state CAASPP assessments in English Language Arts, Math & Science (5th grade only).
Please make sure that your 3rd - 6th grade student is here at Needham every day and on time during the assessment window so that they can complete the assessment with their peers on their scheduled assessment day. Students should also come to school with brain fuel from an excellent breakfast or you can bring them to campus beginning at 7:30AM to have a free breakfast here at school.
