QT4: Week 4, May 5-9
Greetings PK-8 Coyotes!
With just about four weeks remaining, May is always a busy and important time at school. It's essential for students to stay focused and keep working hard. Here are a few tips to help your child finish the school year strong:
- Stay Organized: Remind your child to keep track of assignments, projects, and upcoming tests.
- Healthy Habits: Ensure your child gets enough sleep, eats nutritios meals, and stays active.
- Be Kind: Words take a second to be said but the effects can be long lasting. Please speak to your child regarding the use of words or phrases used to insult or hurt others.
- Positive Mindset: Remind your child that challenges are opportunities for growth and perserverance leads to succes.
Here are a few updates for our campus this week.
Help Us Celebrate Our Amazing Teachers!- Teacher Appreciation Week: May 6-9
This coming week holds special significance at our school as we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week — a time to honor the hard work, commitment, and passion our educators bring every day.
Our teachers have gone above and beyond all year to deliver excellent education and foster a nurturing environment for our students. We warmly invite you to join us in showing them the appreciation they truly deserve.
2025-2026 New & Returning Student Registration Open for All PK-12 Grade Students
Thanks for registering for the next school year! Students who registered by April 25th were given a Free Dress Pass Coupon that will allow free dress for one week (May 6-9). Students who registered on Friday will also be getting a Bahama Bucks Snowcone treat on Friday, May 9.
Student Attendance - Student Absences, Tardies, and Early Pick-Up
Daily attendance is essential for your child’s academic growth. Even short absences can affect learning. We understand some absences are unavoidable, but we ask for your support in making school attendance a priority.
Texas law requires students to attend at least 90% of school days, whether absences are excused or not. Falling below this may require make-up time and a meeting to create an Attendance Plan.
After 10 unexcused absences, we must begin the truancy court process, as required by law.
