Principal's Comment

Kia ora Whanau

Apologies for the late newsletter this evening! I've just arrived home after two days at a conference in Taupo. The Napier-Taupo road was still closed late this morning so I made the call to drive five and a half hours via state highway 1 to get home. Unfortunately when I arrived in Napier I was informed the Napier-Taupo road had reopened - oh dear!

We have one more week left of term two; we look forward to seeing you next Tuesday and Wednesday for your child's learning conferences. If you haven't already done so, you can book a conference by using the link below.

Matariki Celebration Day

Our House Leaders organised a wonderful day of activities for our tamariki on Wednesday this week.

The leaders planned, prepared and ran the activities in mixed age classes. Children really enjoyed the day.

Hero App - new features

You should now be able see your school account in the finance section of your child's Hero profile. This means you can see if there are any charges like stationery or sports fees that need to be paid all in one area. Please feel free to come and discuss anything in regards to this with the office team.

We now have the Onekawa School events calendar up and running. If you click on 'events' you will be directed to an overview page of any events coming up at school.
