Music- From Mr. Chaney
It has been a great year for Bridlemile Music! Our time has been filled with singing songs, playing instruments and celebrating the joy that music brings. These last few weeks are being spent reviewing what we have worked on this year and singing our favorite songs.
The band marched in the St. Johns Parade and it was a huge success! Thank you to all the parents and volunteers. Also, thank you to all the Bridlemile families who came out and supported us. This community never ceases to amaze me.
A quick reminder that the Band and Orchestra concert is Wednesday, May 28th at 6:30pm in the cafeteria.
Have a good weekend everyone!
-Matt Chaney

School Supplies for 2025-26
As we celebrate all our achievements this year, we are getting ready and looking towards plans for next year.
This year was the first year Bridlemile tried purchasing school supplies in bulk, and it was a success! We plan to continue this going forward.
Bridlemile school will purchase school supplies in bulk for all our K-5 students. This ensures that students have all the needed materials that the homeroom teacher has requested and that each student has the same items. This will also reduce the cost of supplies for families.
Please consider making a $35 contribution per student in your family in order to offset the cost of these supplies.
If this contribution request would cause a hardship for your family, please note that payment is not required in order for your student(s) to receive supplies. All Bridlemile students will receive school supplies.
You are welcome to contribute the amount that your family is comfortable with or even consider contributing an additional amount on behalf of another student. All contributions will be used to pay for classroom supplies and may include paying for substitutes, additional supplies, and curriculum materials.
You will receive a tax-deductible receipt with your donation.
Thank you for contributing!

From the District-Join us for a FREE Screening of Disney’s Out of My Mind!
PPS is hosting a series of events that focus on Belonging, Equity & Inclusive Practices where we will screen powerful, award winning documentaries that will stir, provoke, and challenge each of us about what is possible in the systems we create for our children with disabilities. Staff, Parents, Community are all invited.
The final screening for the year will be Out of My Mind on Saturday June 7th at Roosevelt High School.
Please help us spread the word!
Out of My Mind is a moving movie about Melody Brooks, a sixth grader with cerebral palsy, has a quick wit and a sharp mind, but because she is non-verbal and uses a wheelchair, she is not given the same opportunities as her classmates. When a young educator notices her student’s untapped potential and Melody starts to participate in mainstream education, Melody shows that what she has to say is more important than how she says it.
