Changes To Cafeteria Procedures: Please Read
All Catoosa County Schools are implementing a new cafeteria procedure. Starting January, 7th, 2025, students will not be able to purchase extra entrees until after an initial meal service has occurred. This will be a change from meal service in past years. Our school cafeterias will continue to serve high quality meals to all students. During the initial meal service, all students are permitted to select one meal. After the initial meal service, students may then check available account funds with a cafeteria cashier who will verify the student can purchase extra entrees or other extra food items. This new procedure will be implemented to reduce the potential for school meal debt. This procedure will occur county-wide, at all CCPS schools.
Feel free to contact the Child Nutrition department with any questions related to this change in procedure, 706-965-2414.

School Safety Is A Priority
Parents, please help your students understand the importance of being aware of their surroundings. Please encourage your child to say something if they see or hear something that sounds un-safe or potentially dangerous. A courageous student willing to report something suspicious can make all the difference. This is something they should practice inside and outside of school to ensure their safety.
Everyone Is Responsible For School Safety
Students who see or hear something suspicious have many options when it comes to reporting what they see. Make sure they know they can report to an administrator, a teacher, a school counselor, or an adult they trust. They can also text hello to 741-741. Leaders cannot act on information they don't have so please encourage your student report what they see and hear if it is suspicious or dangerous. We're better together!
Arriving After 8:15???
Any student arriving after 8:15 am will need to enter through the front office. CCA, Work-Based Learning, and Dual Enrollment students who arrive on campus after 8:15 will need enter the building through the front office. We have posted signs at the gym entrance to let students know this as well.
Purchase Your Parking Permits ASAP...
Student drivers need to purchase a parking permit as soon as possible. Parking permits are $30 and can be purchased in the HHS Front Office.

Heritage Parents,
One of the biggest needs for HHS is to find people willing to become bus drivers for Catoosa County Schools. Please help us to continue to get the word out so that we can find and train courteous, reliable, safe and professional bus drivers! We need you to spread the word! Please speak with your friends, family and neighbors to see if they may know of anyone interested in becoming a part of our outstanding team.
