Shout out to Colleen Brastad at Franklin Elementary for being instrumental in assisting Andy Deng in getting a motorized wheelchair, giving him independence and freedom he would not have otherwise.
Andy needs an adult to push him everywhere, but now he can move wherever he needs, unassisted! This would not have happened without Colleen’s perseverance and assistance in overcoming language and insurance barriers.
Way to go, Colleen! You are incredible!
