As we head into the heart of the first semester, Quarter 2, I want to commend our students and staff for their hard work and dedication. Our programs at Kingsbury Career and Technology Center are designed to help students develop real-world skills that will prepare them for college and career. C.O.M.E. Attendance Matters, Quarter 1 Grades, Grade Corrections, PowerSchool Contacts, CTSOs
1. Students, who are our champions for the MSCS Count. On. Me. Everyday. Attendance Competition?! YOUR ATTENDANCE MATTERS! Come to KCTC everyday on time and prepared to work! Attendance is tracked heavily and we are in weekly communication with parents about attendance concerns. Parents, reach out to your KCTC Teachers to check-in and be sure your student is ON TRACK!

2. Parents and Students, Quarter 1 grades have been completed and verified. If you have any questions about your Q1 grades, please contact your subject level teacher directly. All teachers’ email addresses can be found in PowerSchool or on our school website. https://schools.scsk12.org/kingsbury-ctc
3. Teachers, principal approval is required prior to processing grade/transcript corrections in IVANTI. Grade corrections are no longer processed via Footprints or hard copy grade change forms.
4. Parents, please log into your PowerSchool account and update your contact information. In the event of an emergency, it is imperative that we are able to reach you. Verify correct phone numbers, email addresses, and family contacts for access and checkouts.
5. Students, contact your teachers about your membership for your Career and Technology Student Organizations! Fall Service Learning Projects are underway! We will report out on those who have already begun in next week’s newsletter!
