Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October 2024
Lincoln Families,
As we observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, we want to take a moment to recognize the importance of awareness, education, and support in the fight against breast cancer. This month serves as a reminder to honor the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and support ongoing efforts to find a cure.
We encourage our community to participate in raising awareness and to support those affected by this disease. Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you for joining us in recognizing this important cause.

Lions Leading! Recognizing effective instructional practices!
Culturally Responsive Teaching
I’d like to highlight the outstanding culturally responsive teaching practices happening in our classrooms.
Mr. Martinez has been doing incredible work in his science class by providing students with autonomy to develop their own systems. This approach not only fosters creativity and problem-solving skills but also empowers students to take ownership of their learning.
Mr. Rowe has been facilitating dynamic Socratic Seminars, where students engage in thoughtful discussions, promoting critical thinking and encouraging diverse perspectives in the classroom.
Thank you, Mr. Martinez and Mr. Rowe, for creating student-centered, inclusive learning environments that inspire our students to think deeply and independently.
