Principal's Message

Reutter School Family,

With the end of the school year quickly approaching, Reutter School is very busy with many end of the year programming activities. I wanted to provide you with some important updates and reminders for the week of May 27.

School Closures:

Friday, May 24: School will be closed for a teacher in-service day.
Monday, May 27: School will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

Upcoming Events:

School Musical: Annie, Jr. Our school musical, Annie, Jr., will be performed in the school's cafeteria on Thursday, May 23 at 7 PM. We look forward to seeing you there to support our talented students!
Annual School Art Show: The Annual School Art Show will take place on Thursday, May 30, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. This year's show will feature a Renaissance-themed art experience, showcasing artwork from all Reutter School students. It promises to be a memorable evening celebrating our students' creativity and hard work.
PTO's Annual Spring Book Fair: The PTO's Annual Spring Book Fair will be held from May 28 to May 31. There will also be a special, family evening Book Fair on May 30 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Here's how the Book Fair works:
- During the week, each child will visit the Book Fair with their class to make purchases.
- We have a wide selection of books for all ages, including adults. We think you'll be pleased with the variety and reasonable prices.
The Book Fair will also be open to all Reutter School families on Thursday, May 30, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM during the Annual Art Show!
The Book Fair will take place during your child’s regularly scheduled library class time. Students will also have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair during their lunch/recess period and enrichment periods. This year’s Book Fair is a Buy-One-Get-One-Free event (books only).

Dear Reutter School Families,

Today, in accordance with state law, Reutter School conducted a security drill in the manner that we conduct all emergency drills, with seriousness and with sensitivity to our students and staff. Everyone responded appropriately and instruction resumed immediately thereafter.

A Look At This Past Week...

Student Compete in Math League Competition

Students in Mrs. Rambone’s 5th grade classes at Caroline L. Reutter School recently participated in the annual Math League Contest. It includes 30 problems to be solved in 30 minutes and greatly improves the students’ performance in Mathematics. Vienna Marchetti and Nathan Weist were the winners in their respective classes, both scoring an impressive 22 points, and eight students received prizes for being high scorers. All of the kids did an excellent job while having fun!
