The Canvas Connection

This course provides instructors with an overview of Canvas features and functionality, guides them in designing their online classrooms in Canvas, and demonstrates how they can manage and deliver their courses -- all with best practices in mind. This course is fully online and self-paced, but it is facilitated by ESC Region 11 consultants and requires hands-on activities. Register today!

Course Design & Delivery in Canvas is offered every term. This term's course is scheduled to close December 2, 2016. The next course opens January 6, 2017 and runs through May 24, 2017. Registration for the Spring 2017 course is open.

Although it's still in the development phase, we are working on creating the "next steps" in course design. This course will concentrate on the advanced features that Canvas has to offer as well as best practices and pedagogy.

Many districts have requested training and/or coaching on creating blended learning classrooms. We are excited to announce that we are in the process of creating a Blended Learning Academy and expect to roll it out this summer. This academy will be a blended learning experience that models the practices of blended learning while teaching the participants the concepts and tools needed to be successful in their own blended classroom.
