North Texas Giving Day’s mission is to empower nonprofits and encourage donors by providing a platform and resources that connect givers with the North Texas causes that matter most to them.

SEF helps support innovative teacher grants for Sunnyvale Raiders. Everything from Dr. Stovall's Garden Market and Garden Boxes at SIS to Ms. Stanfill's Vital Signs equipment in the Health Science Technology classes at SHS to Mrs. Dodson's Book Vending machine at SES.... the sky truly is the limit!

North Texas Giving Day is our day to dedicate funds directly to SEF, which helps our students and teachers SHINE!

Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving event designed to empower nonprofits and encourage donors by providing an easy-to-use platform and resources that connect givers with the North Texas causes that matter most to them. North Texas Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation. In 2023, $63.9 million was raised through 97,132 donors benefiting 3,249 local nonprofits, bringing the fourteen-year total to over $566 million for our community. Since its inception in 2009, this online event has transformed from an idea to help local people give wisely, to a movement that has ignited a broad culture of community-wide giving.
