Dear Bulldog Community-
I hope that you are enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend. I was so tired after all the celebrating that we did last week at Galileo Middle School. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday last week a select group of students came with their families for a special breakfast. They received a special note from an adult in the building telling them how amazing they are!! Friday we engaged in our schoolwide Community Circle Morning Meeting to celebrate students that went above and beyond to show our CORE Value of Respect and one of our Golden Rules: Taking Care of Others. Ms. Moorhead, our Community Liaison, was able to have Jimmy John's donate one free sandwich and brownie to each of our winners.
This week we have official tryouts for girls' volleyball Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afterschool. We have more girls trying out than spots on the team. Best of luck to all our Lady Bulldogs this week! Also, we have our Eye Love Care Doctors will be returning to Galileo on Tuesday, February 27th from 1p-3p to distribute and fit all students that ordered glasses. We are so grateful for this partnership and hope to see them again next year!
I hope you have a wonderful week!
In partnership,
Julia Scott
