Support the Frisco Rail District and give back to your school. The Frisco Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in the Receipt Race and help local businesses during construction in the downtown Frisco Area.

How it Works:

• Shop, dine, do business with/buy from any Frisco Rail District business (see the Old Town Commercial map at the link below) between Now and December 31, 2024.
• Save your receipts! Dollar amounts do not matter.
• Turn receipts in Cobb PTA (there will be a drop box in the front office) no later than January 15, 2025. (Digital receipts cannot be accepted and must be printed before being turned in.)
• The PTA with the most receipts can win up to $5,000!

It's basketball season, and Cobb PTA needs your help with concessions! Did you know that proceeds from the concession stand directly benefit ALL students at Cobb? It is easy, and any Cobb parent can sign up. It's a great way to get to know other parents. Don’t worry - you won't be alone, and training is provided on site. You won’t miss your child’s game - you can sign up for one shift adjacent to their game. Thank you to our volunteers! Go Cyclones!

Nukumori will partake in their second purple battle on Monday, November 18th. Please have your child wear their Nukumori shirts or purple attire on this day. The dungeon with the most students wearing purple will receive a treat during our house StormIE meeting on 11/18. Ms. Tierranegra's dungeon is the reigning champion for the month of October, and we would love to see all the different dungeons rocking purple that day.

Each house cabin (smaller groups within each house) has a student delegate that was nominated and voted on by their peers. These delegates serve on one of four committees that help run our school! The four student committees are: Principal’s Advisory Committee, Hype Crew, Student Ambassadors, and Cyclone Pride. For the next four weeks, we will highlight one committee and tell you about the work they are currently doing. This week we celebrate our HYPE CREW!
