The countdown to Christmas break is on, but first, let’s tackle those finals! This is your time to shine, ace those exams, and finish the semester strong.

Spread some holiday spirit around campus this week—whether it’s rocking your favorite ugly sweater, sharing a smile, or lending a hand to a friend who needs some extra encouragement. Let’s make this last week one to remember.

Semester exams will begin on Tuesday, December 17th. Detailed information about the exams is available on the Caddo Mills High School website.

Exemption forms will be distributed starting Tuesday, December 10th, so please watch for those to come home.

As you prepare to shop, please remember our Third Annual Christmas Vendor Fair on December 14th from 9 to 4 at the high school. We have over 75 vendors and Santa for pictures. There are some incredible booths, and each year, tons of them sell out. This is your time to support the businesses that support our schools all year.

It's a fun day for the family, or you can leave them at home and shop. Our theatre department also has a show that same night.

The following dates in December will be early dismissal:

• December 17th - (HS Only) 12:45 pm - unless students are exempt from semester exams. Buses will run at 3:50 pm.
• December 18th - (HS Only) 12:45 pm - unless students are exempt from semester exams. Buses will run at 3:50 pm.

• December 19th - 1:30 pm - Buses will run at that time.

Starting Monday, December 9, 2024, students who have exceeded the district approved -$10.00 balance will no longer be allowed to charge breakfast in the cafeteria. Students will be able to continue eating breakfast once their negative balance has been paid.

The District is unwavering in its commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy learning environment for all its students. We understand that the use of illegal drugs poses a serious health and safety risk to the user, those associated with the user, and potentially to the public. Therefore, as a proactive measure to keep our students and schools drug-free, the District requires the random drug-testing of any student in grades 7-12 who chooses to participate in school-sponsored extracurricular activities or request a permit to park a vehicle on school property. Random drug testing is conducted throughout the school year.
