A Message from Mr. Wright
Hey there, amazing school community of Fitzgerald!
What a fantastic year it has been! We've connected, experienced, and thrived together, and I couldn't be more proud to serve as your principal. The dedication of our staff, students, families, and stakeholders has truly shone through, leading to incredible achievements.
I am thrilled to announce that this year we've achieved our highest reading scores in a decade, a 6% increase in math performance, and a significant rise in advanced scores in science on the SOLs. Fitzgerald is definitely the place to be for learning and growth!
Let's keep this momentum going strong! Even though the school year is ending, let's remember that learning never stops. Encourage your child to read every night, practice their math skills, and keep exploring new things. Don't forget, Lexia and DreamBox will still be available for students over the summer.
It has been an absolute joy to see our school community flourish over the past three years. We've expanded our programs, brought in amazing staff, and together, we are proving that Fitzgerald is a place where everyone can connect, experience, and thrive!
Congratulations to the entire Fitzgerald community on a fabulous school year! Here's to many more exciting adventures ahead. Have a wonderful summer, everyone! 🌟📚🎉
With love,
George Wright

🎉🎓 Celebratory Update! 🎓🎉
Hello there, everyone! We had an incredible event at Fitzgerald Elementary that we're thrilled to share with you. Our graduating seniors and some former students of Fannie A. Fitzgerald rejoined us for a special senior walk, which was organized by the wonderful fifth-grade teacher, Svea Krajack.
It was a heartwarming moment as nearly 20 former students walked the halls of Fitzgerald, sharing words of wisdom and inspiration with our current fifth-grade students. The energy was absolutely amazing, and it was a fantastic experience for everyone involved.
A huge congratulations to all the graduates! Your journey has just begun, and we can't wait to see where it takes you. 🎉🌟
