Office Staff
Mrs. Rebecca Charbonneau
Born in Plymouth, Wisconsin, and raised in Howards Grove. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Ed and Choral Ed with a minor in Church Music from Lakeland University. She taught choir/general music and was an instructional coach at the Sheboygan Falls School District before coming to Random Lake. Rebecca received her Master of Education from Lakeland University and a Master of Leadership and Curriculum from UW-Oshkosh. Rebecca loves singing with her family and gardening. This is her 25th year in education. Rebecca loves being part of the Random Lake Staff and is looking forward to a great year.
Ms. Bethany Heimerman
Bethany has returned for her second year as the Administrative Assistant in the Elementary School. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a marketing and finance degree, but is enjoying these days in the office while her kids are young. She lives with her fiancé, 3 sons and 2 cats in Random Lake. As a family they like to travel and attend many soccer games, whether for her kids or the Milwaukee Wave!

Early Childhood and 4K Teachers
Mr. Aaron Casper
“Mr. Aaron” has served as the Early Childhood teacher for the past 22 years. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Mr. Casper was named the WECA/WDEC Early Childhood Special Education Teacher of the year in September of 2016. Mr. Casper is married with three children: Ages 8, 15, and 18. In his spare time, Mr. Casper likes fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting/foraging, and trying new restaurants with his family.
Mrs. Michelle Scheftgen
Michelle is a graduate of UW-Whitewater. She began her teaching in grades two and three in Milwaukee. Michelle joined the ELC team in 2016 and is one of our 4K teachers. She lives in Saukville with her husband, 2 sons, 2 daughters, and dog. Michelle loves outdoor activities with her family.
Mrs. Christine Schreurs
Christine graduated from Concordia University in December 2019 and has worked with our early learning team since 2017. She lives in Random Lake with her husband, three sons and their dog. Christine enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and crafting.
Kindergarten Teachers
Mrs. Cesie Dahm
Cesie joined the Random Lake Elementary staff in the fall of 2016 as a 4K teacher at the Early Learning Center and will be teaching kindergarten for the 8th year. A graduate of Mount Mary College, and originally from Milwaukee, Mrs. Dahm also taught kindergarten and 2nd grade at MPS before joining our team. Mrs. Dahm loves spending time with family, doing CrossFit, and lives in Random Lake with her husband and 2 children.
Mrs. Stacie Reed
Stacie has been a kindergarten teacher for over 25 years. Mrs. Reed received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a licensure in pre-K through 3rd grade. She lives in the city of Port Washington with her husband and dog, Sophie. Mrs. Reed also has a daughter, Isabel. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with family.
1st Grade Teachers
Mrs. Sierra Cashman
Sierra is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned her degree in Elementary Education and English as Second Language. Sierra is originally from Sparta, Wisconsin and this will be her 4th year teaching first-grade with Random Lake. Mrs. Cashman lives in Sheboygan with her husband and in her free time enjoys playing and coaching volleyball and doing something crafty.
Mrs. Amy Theis
Amy is a Random Lake alum and served on our staff in our Title I resource room in the area of reading starting in 2015. Amy is a graduate of UW-Platteville, earning her degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education and joined our first grade teaching staff in 2016. Mrs. Theis lives in Random Lake with her husband, daughter, and dog.
2nd Grade Teachers
Mrs. Susie Goneau
Susie will be starting her 28th year of teaching. She received her undergraduate degree from California State University and her master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University. Mrs. Goneau taught in California, Fond du Lac, and Random Lake School Districts. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her grandkids, gardening, and running on scenic trails.
Mrs. Allison Haase
Allison will be beginning her first year at Random Lake Elementary School teaching second grade. She is so excited to be joining the Random Lake team and meet the families and students. Allison graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Middle School Education. She did fieldwork in multiple grades from 4K- 5th grade in Milwaukee and did a student teaching internship in second grade in West Allis. She enjoys going for hikes, dancing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family!
3rd Grade Teachers
Mrs. Ande Argue
Ande is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh and also has a Master's degree from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay. This will be her 12th year at Random Lake, where she has taught third grade, special education, and 4k. She lives in the country with her husband and two kids. She loves to work in her garden and camping with her family.
Ms. Courtney Lucas
Courtney is excited to be a part of the 3rd-grade team again this year at Random Lake! She is from down the road in Cedar Grove, Wisconsin. Miss. Lucas is a Concordia University of Wisconsin-Mequon graduate with a double master’s and continuing her education to become a reading specialist. This is her fourth year of teaching and her third year at Random Lake Elementary. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, cooking, and spending time with her two puppies, Jynx and Pearl.
4th Grade Teachers
Ms. Kennedy Beck
Kennedy is going into her first year of teaching 4th grade at Random Lake Elementary. She previously worked as a 3rd grade teacher at a private school in Cedarburg. Kennedy was born and raised in Woodstock, IL and graduated from Concordia University-Wisconsin with a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education. She moved to Cedarburg, WI after graduating college. She currently lives in West Bend with her mini Bernedoodle, Luna. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as playing and watching sports. She also loves reading and spending time Up North at her family's cabin.
Mrs. Ruth Glenboski
Ruth has over 30 years of teaching experience and has been at Random Lake since 2015. She previously taught second, third, and technology in Alabama and Arizona. Ruth received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. She loves teaching and is excited to start a new year. Ruth is married, has 3 children, 3 granddaughters, and a dog named Duke. She enjoys spending time with her family, sewing, quilting, and reading historical fiction. She also loves being one of the Random Rockin' Grannies.
5th Grade Teachers
Mrs. Jennifer Anderson
Jennifer comes to Random Lake with eleven years of teaching experience (teaching 1st, 4th and 6th grade). After working at the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest for eight summers, she now spends time with my husband and two sons outdoors going hiking, biking, kayaking, hunting, fishing, etc. Mrs. Anderson obtained her bachelor’s degree from UW-Platteville and master’s degree in Educational Technology from Marian University. For fifth grade, she will be teaching math and science. She lives in the Boltonville area.
Mrs. Heather Keller
Heather will continue at RLES this year in 5th grade teaching ELA and social studies. Previously she has worked as a part-time teacher, long-term substitute, and paraprofessional at RLMS. She graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a degree in elementary education and a minor in social studies. She has taught grades 3-8 and has worked in the education field for the past 19 years in multiple districts in Wisconsin. She has strong ties to Random Lake as she is a community member and parent to 2 children who attend RLSD. She is also the RL Wrestling Club's Youth Coordinator. In her spare time she enjoys reading, camping, shopping, and spending time with her husband and 2 boys.
Specialists
Mrs. Kari Anewenter
Kari is the speech-language pathologist who sees the 4th and 5th graders, as well as middle and high school students. She is starting her 11th year at Random Lake and has been a speech therapist for 19 years. Mrs. Anewenter has taken continuing education on apraxia, language, and articulation. She lives in Port Washington with her husband, two high school-aged kids, and her lab named Bear. Mrs. Anewenter enjoys traveling, watching her kids participate in sports, and has gotten into playing pickleball this summer.
Mrs. Cindy Barber
Cindy, a past graduate of Random Lake, has been in education over 30 years. While she started her Random Lake career teaching Elementary, the past several years have been spent teaching Middle School. This year she will be teaching grades 4K-7 STEM classes. Cindy lives in the Town of Fredonia and enjoys baking, gardening, and the outdoors.
Mrs. Angela Cabell
Angela is thrilled to embark on her 19th year with the Random Lake School District as a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP). Her passion for her role lies in empowering students to communicate more effectively with their friends, teachers, and family. Angela holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Redlands (California), and she has pursued advanced training in Autism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, literacy, and language and learning. Outside of her professional life, Angie loves spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and listening to podcasts.
Mrs. Lisa Grubisic
Lisa will begin her 29th year at Random Lake as the district’s library media specialist. Mrs. Grubisic earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education degrees at Lakeland University and recently completed her library media specialist certification at UW Milwaukee. She is married to her husband Chuck, and they share a 23-year-old daughter and a 20-year-old son. Mrs. Grubisic has two pets--a 12-year-old dog named Penny and a one-year-old beagle/basset hound named Winston. In her spare time, Mrs. Grubisic enjoys reading, playing handbells, and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Jenna Howell
Jenna is the new Elementary music teacher, and is entering her eighth year of teaching. Before becoming a Ram, Jenna taught middle and high school choir, as well as a couple of years of band at Oostburg and Plymouth. She lives in Plymouth with her husband Dave, their three boys, and many (too many) pets. One of her favorite things to do is write music with her sister and her husband, for their band "Sister Winchester." She became a "cool mom" to Elliot, Foster, and Llewyn for about 5 minutes when their album was added to Spotify in January!.
Tracie Kusowski
Tracie has over 10 years of experience as a School Psychologist and this is her third year in Random Lake. Tracie received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from St. Norbert College and went on to receive her Masters degree in Educational Psychology from UW- Milwaukee. Tracie finds her profession very rewarding which energizes her every day at school. She most loves that she is able to advocate for and support students and families on their educational journey from age 3-21. When not at school, Tracie enjoys boating, fishing, and golfing with her 3 children and husband.
Mrs. Lisa Masslich
Lisa returns this year as our K-8 art teacher. She received her art degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and later attended Cardinal Stritch University to get her Art Education certification. The mother of three daughters, current and former students of Random Lake, Lisa is also active in our PTO and Girl Scouts. You can see her volunteering all over Random Lake and at her art studio in the Random Lake Entertainment District. Her past art teaching positions have been in Plymouth and Cedar Grove.
Mrs. Bobbie Norlander
Library Media Assistant Bobbie is in her 20th year in education. Previous positions have been in special education in Plymouth. She is in her third year at her dream job at Random Lake. She loves to read so reading to others and sharing this love of reading to students is why she calls this her dream job. Bobbie has been married to Mr. Norlander for 27 years and they have three grown sons, Ethan who is married to his wife Taylor. Eli who is engaged to his fiance Kara and Ezekiel who is a US Marine. In her spare time she enjoys doing local theatre and is currently rehearsing for her 8th community theatre production, Mary Poppins.
Mrs. Bonnie Reichers
Bonnie graduated from Mount Mary University with a bachelor's degree in art therapy and continued to Concordia university to obtain a master's degree in school counseling. Mrs. Riechers is new to our district starting in the 2024/2025 school year. Previous background includes working at neighboring school districts Grafton and West Bend. Mrs. Riechers will continue to implement the Character Education Program at the Elementary School as part of students' weekly rotations. This will help teach students core values, to do their best work, to make good choices, build healthy relationships, and to lead their life with integrity. The counseling room can be a safe space for mindfulness, emotional breaks, learning, and fun! Mrs. Riechers enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, two cats, hiking, baking, and reading.
Mrs. Jen Traas
Jen returns for her 4th year at Random Lake! She has 18 years of experience as a Physical Education teacher. Earning her Bachelor of Science degree from UW-LaCrosse, she is licensed to teach both Physical Education and Health Education (K-12). She has spent many hours coaching volleyball, basketball, softball and gymnastics. She has been married to her husband, Bradley, for 18 years. They are busy parents to 3 children, Reed (15), Brynn (13) and Jase (11). Jen spends her free time cheering on her kids at their many sporting events.
Mrs. Jamie Utecht
Jamie was a second-grade teacher at Random Lake Elementary for 5 years before becoming our Reading Specialist/ Literacy Coach. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in both Elementary Education and Special Education and a Master's Degree in Language and Literacy through Cardinal Stritch University. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She works K-12 as a Reading Specialist and is the lead teacher for our Title I Reading program. When not here at school, she enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two daughters.
Special Education Teachers
Mr. Mark Hall
Mark begins his 20th year working as an Elementary Special Educator for the School District of Random Lake. He previously taught at a middle school in Florida and at an elementary school in Georgia. Mr. Hall holds a Bachelor of Science degree in 1st-8th Grade Education as well as a Master’s degree in Cross-Categorical Special Education. Mr. Hall enjoys sports, snowmobiles, and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 adult children, and his dog Ollie.
Mrs. Jackie Rummell
Jackie is excited to be joining the Random Lake School District as a special education teacher. She holds a Master's degree in Special Education from Marian University, and comes to Random Lake from the Plymouth School District where she has worked for the last three years. When she is not teaching, Jackie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter on their hobby farm!
Mrs. Krystal Vanden Heuvel
Krystal has been a teacher at Random Lake Elementary school for the last 13 years. She has taught first, second, and third grades and was a substitute for elementary and middle prior to that. Currently she is a teacher in the special education department. She also coached our HS dance team for 4 years and is active in our public library. Mrs. Vanden Huevel received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a license in 1-8th grade and added a special education license.
Paraprofessionals
Ms. Jennifer Leider
Starting the third year working back in the district. Ms. Leider drives bus to and from school and some other events. This year is excited to work with a different group of kids as a helper in the classroom during the day. Ms. Leider has two children, one in high school and one in middle school and a dog. When not working she loves to attend her children's extracurricular activities, spend time outdoors, and enjoy life.
Mrs. Julie Neitzke
I am a retired Kindergarten teacher from Random Lake Elementary. I am now working as a paraprofessional assistant in the Title 1 Reading program. I live in Random Lake with my husband Ted. I enjoy reading, gardening, golf and boating activities.
Mrs. Nicole VanderVelden
I was born and raised in Plymouth, Wisconsin and moved to Random Lake when I married my husband Sam. We reside in Random Lake with our daughter Ceceilia. This will be my 5th year working for the school district of Random Lake as a Paraprofessional in Special Ed. I’m a two time graduate of Lakeshore Technical College with an emphasis in Early Education. In my spare time I like to spend as much time with family and friends as I can, camp, swim, and read.

Sara has returned for her 7th year as the school district registered nurse. She worked as an inpatient RN for over 15 years across the U.S. before transitioning to school nursing in 2009. She's been married to husband, Brian for 34 years and has 4 children and 4 perfect grandchildren. She loves traveling to far-away places, and in her spare time likes to garden, read, spend time with family, and work on her genealogy.
