Catholic Schools Week starts Sunday!

ALL school families and potential school families are encouraged to join us at the 10:15 a.m. Mass and Open House to follow. This is a great opportunity to socialize with other families, see the hard work your students have been doing, and to have fun along the way! Be sure to invite any families who you think might want to join our school family.

There is a lot planned for Catholic Schools Week. If you have any questions, please ask.

If you are planning to have your child utilize the After School Care Program during this time, we ask that you register them using this link by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24.

As a reminder, you only need to complete the form if your child(ren) will be attending After School on at least one of these days. Thank you!

Saint Timothy is the patron saint of people suffering from stomach and intestinal disorders. He is also the patron saint of young people, students, and those seeking guidance in their studies and careers.

During this cold and flu season, you may want to ask him to pray for you or someone you know who is suffering from a stomach or intestinal disorder.

We hope to see you at our first-ever Saint John Snow Bowl from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2 at Bellefonte Lanes. Please RSVP by Thursday, Jan. 23 so we can get an accurate headcount.

Important Snow Bowl notes:

- We intend to reserve bowling spots for Saint John students and their siblings to start, and then will open bowling to caregivers and other family members after the RSVP deadline, as space allows.

- At least one caregiver from each family will be required to stay on site for the duration of the event.

- Food and beverages will not be provided or available for purchase from the snack bar during our event out of respect for students and family members with food allergies and sensitivities. Please plan accordingly.

As we recognize faculty and staff during Catholic Schools Week, the Home and School Association is asking for help to "stock the breakroom" so they can enjoy well-deserved treats, snacks and beverages throughout the year! Please consider signing up to donate a gift card to help us purchase items that teachers and staff can enjoy on Celebrating Our Faculty & Staff Day -- or any day!

Sign up here to donate a gift card. Please send gift cards to the school office by Monday, Jan. 27 in an envelope labeled "HSA." We will use some donated gift cards to purchase some treats and beverages to fill the breakroom during "Celebrating Our Faculty & Staff" day on Wednesday, Jan. 29. (Note that H&SA will also be providing a catered lunch for teachers and staff that day). Additional gift cards will be reserved to replenish items as needed later in the school year.
