100 days smarter!!!
This week we celebrated the 100th Day of Kindergarten! Can you believe it has been 100 days?!? We loved seeing all the kids dressed up like old people and with their outfits with 100 things on it. SO CUTE!
Staff fun for the 100th day!
As a staff, they put together some fun for us too today! There was a wall with pics of all of us as kindergarteners and a photo with the filter of what we will look like when we are 100. We each got one shot to make a match with the current pic of the staff. It was SO much fun- and for the official record- we are all a little scared of turning 100! The kids were loving it too as they walked past! They couldn’t believe we used to be kids or what we could look like at 100!!
Thank you to our Food Services for 100 days of healthy meals daily!!
Happy School Counselor Week!
Next week is National School Counselor Week and we want you to join us in celebrating these two! We have a wonderful team of our school counselor, Mrs. Hannah Lucas and our Behavior Interventionist, Mr. Ryan Williams. We all want to say Thank You for being inspiring, for being encouraging, and for always supporting & believing in all of us. We appreciate all you do for all of us each and every day. You are amazing!
Parent Volunteers NEEDED!
We are getting ready to go on a journey of the bones in the human body in STEM and will have several weeks of interactive fun that we need some extra hands-on deck! Please reach out to Ms. Fraze if you would like to volunteer! mfraze@hobart.k12.in.us
Diving right in to our insides!
We are diving head first into learning about the body in STEM & library over the next several weeks. This week Ms. Fraze and Ms. May took us on an inner body adventure and we are exploring all the things going on inside…. bones, muscles, lungs, stomach, and other inner organs.
Did you know that you as parents can nominate a staff member to be recognized as someone who is Being Excellent On Purpose? Dr. Buffington LOVES to know about and celebrate the positive!
Kids Heart Challenge info coming home next week!
