World Kindness Day
Do you love visual book lists? Have you seen VisualBooklists.com? There are currently 35 booklists created by Melissa Corey (Week 2 with highlighting her but she has so much cool stuff!!). She creates them in Canva and gives you both the image to immediately print or a Canva editable file so you can replace titles with ones you own!
Take it one step deeper and use a Reference Organizer to create your very own flip book to help students find a new read. This one is currently on a Prime Big Deal with 20% off!
PBS Passport Access
What shows are available with PBS Passport?
The PBS Passport library currently offers members more than 1,000 episodes from popular shows like American Experience, American Masters, Antiques Roadshow, Nature, NOVA, and Masterpiece. In addition to these signature series, the library is full of public television’s acclaimed arts, science, history, and lifestyle programs; including Great Performances, Earth a New Wild, Austin City Limits, and a rotating selection of films from Ken Burns. More shows are being added all the time. Available Passport videos can be found in the Episodes or Specials section of select shows. Some shows may only offer shorter clips and previews instead of episodes. Passport videos are designated by a blue "compass rose" icon as shown in the image below:

Are you missing JamBoard?
You're in luck! Eric Curts has captured the essence of Jamboard and brought it into Google Slides, making collaboration even more accessible. While many of us are eager to try tools like FigJam, which offer a more complete replacement, this option has a major advantage—it does not require an EdLaw 2D contract. By using the gray space around the slide, you can easily add sticky notes, lines, highlights, and more, offering flexibility in how you organize your ideas. This could be a great solution for you while you wait for access to other platforms. Think of Google Slides as Jamboard, but with extra features and flexibility. Read more about it on his blog here. Happy collaborating!
