Spinning the Positive Referral Wheel
Will it be a book token? Sign the floor? Positive phone call home? Love seeing our students being recognized for their great efforts and kindness!
PTO Block Party fun!
What a great night for our families. Huge thanks to our PTO for coordinating a wonderful night of music, games and food
From Norton & Holmes
Greetings Crestwood Community!
Our Wild About Reading fundraiser is beginning it's final days but there is still time to register and help our PTO raise funds to support Crestwood kids!
If we hit our goal, we will have a FOAM PARTY celebration on Friday October 4th for each grade level during the last hour of the school day. We encourage students to bring a towel and consider wearing clothing that you don't mind your child playing in a mountain of foam! Please let your child's teacher know if you prefer them to participate in an opt out activity during the foam party.
Thanks
Kit & Jillian

WILD About Reading Fundraiser
Our largest fundraiser of the year!

Background checks for volunteers
All Lindbergh Schools' volunteers supervising children without a Lindbergh employee present, must have a completed background check. The law (House Bil 604) requires a fingerprint scan from the State Highway Patrol's Automated Criminal History Site (MACHS) as well as a completed registration with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), Family Care Safety Registry. A volunteer who has not been screened cannot be left alone with a student.
Screened volunteers help us on events like Field Trips to allow students to enjoy the experience in smaller groups. If you wish to be a Screened Volunteer, contact your classroom teacher to receive the link/doc to apply for the MACHS background check system and the Family Care Registry process
If you wish to volunteer for school events but not serve as a screened adult, you may do so still but will not be allowed to be alone with students in small groups without a screened adult present.
SIGN THE BEAM Event celebrating 75 years!
On October 8th, our students and staff will sign a steel beam that will serve as a time capsule set in the roof of our new gymnasium/storm shelter at Crestwood!
Members of the community will be invited to come sign the beam after school on the same day, commemorating 75 years of Lindbergh Schools!
Literacy Night October 14th!
Fall Party October 17th, 2pm
Our Fall celebration is on Thursday, October 17th, 2 pm. To help the check in process go faster, if you are planning to attend your child's classroom celebration, please sign up here. We will print name tags ahead of time for those who have had their ID scanned at Crestwood before. If you have not had your ID scanned at Crestwood previously, it would be helpful to stop by Crestwood before October 11th
