Important Information for Grade 8 students and their families:

Dear Parent/Guardian of Eighth Grade Students:

Although it may seem early, the process of transitioning our Cameron students from middle school onto high school is beginning. Keefe Technical High School will be visiting Cameron Middle School on October 11th from 10:30 - 11:00 am. At this time, students will be asked to choose the two shops they hope to visit on our upcoming tour. They will be randomly assigned a third shop.

All students will be touring Keefe Technical School on Friday, November 1, 2024. Students will leave Cameron after homeroom and will ride a bus to Keefe. They will hear an overview of the school and will visit three of the shops. We will return to Cameron by 11:00 am and will have lunch. Students who are interested in applying to Keefe will be given details regarding the application process on the trip and we will have applications available in the main office. Students can also access their application online. Students were given a permission slip in homeroom and they will be due back on October 25th. I am attaching a form to this letter if you would prefer to print it and scan it back to me. Please ask your child to return it to their homeroom teacher.

Keefe will be hosting an open house information night for families and students on November 21st at 5:30 pm. Please visit their website for more information.
