Wisdom Retreat for Seniors
We are so pleased to announce that Eagan High School is bringing back the Wisdom Retreat to celebrate our amazing Class of 2025 and recognize all of them for the efforts they made as a class to build an exceptional culture at Eagan High School.
It will be a reflective day for seniors to gain healthy closure on their high school years together and be challenged to finish the year with respect and care.
The retreat will be held from 8:30-2:30 PM on Thursday, February 6 at Dakota Hill Middle School. Seniors attending will be dismissed from the whole day of classes. The cost is only $10 per person.
Unfortunately, we are limited to the first 200 Seniors, so sign-up in EduTrak today as it’s first come first serve. Parent/Guardians can find it under the Registrations Section ( Red Soccer Ball ) then clicking Register next to the name of the student they want to sign up.

Pre-Planned Absence Procedure
Attendance Reminder:
Students absent 3 or more days for a pre-planned absence should complete the “Pre-Planned Authorization” form.
The forms are located in the EHS Attendance Office.
- The form should be completed and submitted prior to the planned absence. We recommend at least one week or more in advance.
- The student is responsible for arranging make-up assignments with all teachers before the absence to receive credit for the work.
- Vacation absences beyond 5 days will be marked as unexcused. These absences will count in the excessive absence policy.
College and University Visits
Students and parents should plan to visit college/university campuses on non-school days or outside of school hours. If this is not possible and students will be absent three or more school days, a Pre-Planned Authorization Form must be filled out, signed and authorized prior to the absence. If this process is followed, the absence will be verified. Forms are available in the attendance office.
No School on Jan. 17th for Students
No school for students on January 17th. This is a data assessment day for teachers. Teachers will be engaged in curriculum work with teaching teams and departments.

SSI - Summer Science Institute Applications Available
The Summer Science Institute (SSI) program began in 1992 with the goal of exposing Eagan High School students to the beauty and wonder of nature... not city park-type nature, but truly getting out there and spending nine days in the Northwoods (Lake of the Woods area) at Laketrails Base Camp, learning and laughing. Applications are due January 17th. Please check out the links below to find out more about this great opportunity.
