Showing Up Together, Attendance Matters
Your child(ren)'s attendance and well-being matters to all of us at Walker Elementary. Daily and on time school attendance is vital for students’ academic success. We are here to support your child(ren)'s education every day by creating a supportive and enriching learning environment.
We track attendance daily and will begin to reach out to families that need that extra support. We will also begin attendance incentives and contests for students and families beginning October 1st. More information about this will be provided in another communication.

Student Vehicle Drop-Off Procedures
Thank you for the success of the student drop-off line. The area around the school is much safer.
However, please be mindful to stop at all stop signs. The Bedford Park Police Department has received many calls from residents about vehicles not stopping at all stop signs. They have communicated to me that citations will be given if a driver fails to come to a complete stop.
