LOST & FOUND!!!!
Lost and found is overflowing!!! Please have your student check for anything they may be missing. There are coats, sweatshirts, shoes, pants, etc. We will be taking it to Goodwill on February 29th.
Afternoon Early Pick-ups:
Parents picking up students after 2pm please park in the upper lot. Buses are coming in at this time and cars can not be in the lower lot. Thank you.
Student Fees:
Reports have been sent home with student's current fees. Students that have outstanding fees will not be permitted to participate in extra curricular activities. It is extremely important that these fees are paid and brought current. Payment plans are available. Please contact the school office, 513.273.3305 to make arrangements. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Lunch Accounts:
Several students have lunch balances that are in the negative. Once accounts reach a certain threshold they are rolled into student's school fees. Please use Talawanda EZ Pay to check on your student's account. You can use Talawanda EZ Pay, send a check or cash to the school office to take care of your student's balance.
Drink Reminder
Students may only have water as a drink in the classroom. If they bring other drinks from home, they must finish them in the cafeteria before heading to class (on time).
Student Pick-up/Early Dismissal
Parents please know that when you need to pick-up your student up early from school we will check an ID, even if we know you. Please understand this is for the safety of the children. Always remember to bring your ID inside to show us.
Tuesday/Thursday Help Sessions
Teachers will be assigning after school help sessions on Tuesday and/or Thursday for any student missing assignments. Please check with your student to be sure they have turned in all of their work! If they haven't, the required help session will be an excellent time for them to get it finished.

Extra Performance Opportunity – Shhhhhhh It’s a surprise!
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 28, 7 p.m. – BOGAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The 4th grade class at Bogan is performing The musical The Greatest Showman.
Our 7th and 8th grade choristers are going to surprise them with singing “Rewrite the Stars” as part of their performance. The 4th graders don’t know this is happening, so mums the word!
This is not a graded performance, nor is it meant to serve as an alternative for the March 5th concert. It’s just something that will be fun for the 4th graders and add an extra chance to sing in public for our students. Ms. Pitts and I are excited to collaborate!
Your cooperation and support are greatly appreciated in ensuring the success of the
Talawanda choir program.

REMINDER THE COOKIE DOUGH SALE FINISHES ON FEBRUARY 29TH!!!!
February 15 - February 29, 2024
This will be our last fundraiser (for the 23-24 school year) to support student field trips. Students will earn $8.50 per box sold. (each box is $22.00). All monies earned by students can only be used for school sponsored trips. There is a limit to how much a student can earn. Please read the fine print below. . . .
School fundraisers are designed to assist students wanting to travel on class trips. If a student chooses to not travel, all money raised is forfeited to the general scholarship fund. There is also a cap to how much profit a student is allowed to earn. The profit stops at 75.00 past the cost of the Washington, D.C. trip. The extra money will be donated to the general scholarship fund. For example: earn $700 and the trip cost $600 -- you keep 75 & TMS will keep 25. This rarely happens, but we can’t let you keep 100’s of dollars in profit.
All money raised from the cookie dough sale will be placed into the student’s travel account to be used for school field trips.
6th grade = Glen Helen
8th grade = Washington, D.C.
Any questions or concerns should be directed to John Brinck.
Email = brinckj@talawanda.org Cell = 513-477-9503.
REMEMBER -- This is a voluntary sale. You do not need to participate. Whatever you sell/earn is in your account. You are only helping yourself. For more details click HERE.
