Administrators for the Day!
We had fun with the Administrators of the Day! From declaring a Dress Down Day and having extra recess to eating lunch from Cane's and visiting the rectory for donuts, the students enjoyed being Administrators for the Day!
Many thanks to the Hinrich Family who won this experience at the Auction!

Support the Capital Campaign
We're Almost There! Help us Get the Building Bright Futures Capital Campaign Over the TOP!
After about five months of pledges from very generous parishioners, we’re approaching $5.2M.
With about $350K to go to hit our $5.5M goal, we need everyone’s help to get us over the finish line.
We can do it. Here’s how:
With only 39% of school families currently pledging, there is a big opportunity for the majority to
lend a hand. If everyone who hasn’t pledged gave $50/month over 5 years, we’ll make it. $600/year – a total of $3,000. Or we’ll make it with $25/month is $300/year – a total of $1,500 over 5 years.
Can you help us? Please join the other school families who have done their part.
Pledging is easy! Three ways:
1) Faith Direct. Go to the Building Bright Futures section at Faith Direct and sign up:
https://membership.faithdirect.net/enroll/choosegifts/413/56871/73
You can charge it to your credit card or have it deducted from your bank account.
2) Complete the pledge card in your campaign packet, drop it off at the rectory or offertory basket.
3) Write a single check for your 5-year pledge and drop it off at the rectory or offertory basket.
(Please mark it “Capital Campaign”.)
Please help us get over the finish line now. Thanks for your prayerful consideration.

Community Outreach
Claver House
Claver House Community Garden is a special project supported by St. Gabriel and other local parishes every year. To help prepare for the project, we need volunteers to plant two dozen of one type of vegetable and nurture it until planting day on April 12th. Volunteers are needed on April 12th and May 10th to help tend to the garden beds at Claver House. This community garden and outdoor learning center teaches health, nutrition, gardening and sustainability to GardenVille and Claver House residents. It provides a good source for healthy foods, flowers and green spaces in their neighborhood. Food harvested from the garden feeds residents from June through October. This project is an excellent way to bring families together by reaching out and helping others.

Religious Education Information and Resources
Dear Parents,
We are so proud of our 8th grade class and their reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation. Thanks to all who have kept them in prayer.
Thanks to all the 4th grade family and friends who were able to join us for the 4th grade Baptism Mass yesterday. Your presence means so much to the children!
Lent will be here next week! Next Tuesday, we will Bury the Alleluia! During Lent, we fast from the word “Alleluia,” which means “Praise the Lord” in Greek/ or “Hallelujah”-Hebrew. We bury the Alleluia for 40 days to remind us to keep our actions simple-pray, fast, and give alms.
CRS Rice Bowls will be sent home in next week's Wednesday envelope.
The Archdiocese is hosting a panel discussion and simple meal next week on Thursday. See the flyer above for information.
Prayer of Saint Augustine
Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, That my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me, O Holy Spirit, That my work, too, may be holy. Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, That I love but what is holy. Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, To defend all that is holy. Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit, That I always may be holy.
