APM Update

Greetings APM Families,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your ongoing support and your attendance at conferences over the past several weeks. Your engagement in your child's education is truly valued, and we’re grateful to partner with you to create a nurturing and secure Montessori learning environment.

In this newsletter, you’ll find information about club volunteer opportunities. Please check it out! And we’re excited to invite you to our first “Time for Me” event this year, on Tuesday, November 19th. This is a special opportunity for one adult—whether a parent, grandparent, or close family friend—to join your child in the classroom. While the teachers won’t be present, your child will love showing you their work in our Montessori environment. This open house event runs from 3:45 to 5:45 p.m., so you’re welcome to join at any time during those hours. If possible, we kindly ask that younger siblings stay at home.

Congratulations to our 16 E2 students that participated in the FLL (FIRST Lego League) Robotics Regional Tournament on November 2. Way to go APM!

Club Volunteers Needed

Newspaper Club: We’re seeking parent volunteers to help guide our E2 journalists to produce a monthly school newsletter. Your support can make a big difference in encouraging their creative and teamwork skills!

Lego Builders: If you enjoy working with kids and fostering creativity, we’d love your help with our Lego Builders Club. Volunteers can assist students in building projects and provide a fun, hands-on experience in problem-solving and design.

Running Club: We need enthusiastic parent volunteers to help support our Running Club leaders, motivating students as they train for the Santa Scamper. Join us in promoting fitness, goal-setting, and a positive attitude toward physical activity!

SAVE THE DATE! This year’s Spring Music & Art in the Park celebration will be held Friday afternoon, May 16 with a rain date of Thursday, May 22. The woodland art gallery will open at 1:30pm. and the concert will begin at 2:00.
