Over the past few weeks I have noticed several unsafe after school pick up procedures that have concerned me greatly.
If you are using the Church parking lot, please pull into the parking lot, do not park on the shoulder.
Although we have two lanes in our parking lot, do not make a second lane as you pull in from Davis Road.
Never stop in the crosswalk, students cannot be safely or legally crossed if any part of your car is in the crosswalk.
If you travel Northbound on Davis Road (turning left into the parking lot), arrive before the bell rings, and the parking lot is already full, please consider pulling over the the right shoulder to allow traffic to pass.
If you travel Southbound on Davis Road (turning left into the parking lot), please pull over to the right as much as possible to allow traffic to pass.
Do not pick up directly in front of school.
Do not pick up at the entrance to the staff parking lot.
Do not turn left out of our lot OR the Church's lot
The safety of our Elkhorn Community is at the top of my list. Please do not allow impatience and a lack of following rules to cause a safety concern. Thank you for your support!
