Schedule Pickup Day - August 8

Join us in the gym anytime between 1 PM and 6 PM for Schedule Pickup Day.

Please note that address verification must be completed before your child can receive their schedule. Once you have the schedule, feel free to explore the school and locate your classes.

During this event, you can:

• Purchase a t-shirt
• Buy a school agenda
• Pay for Life App dues
• Visit the school nurse
• Pay for school lunches

First Day of School - August 13

The first day of school is on August 13. Here are the key details:

• School doors open at 7:35 AM. Please do not drop your child off earlier.
• School starts at 8:10 AM. Students will be directed to the correct location in the morning.
• Breakfast is served before school starts.
• Dismissal begins at 3:05 PM. Students will stay in 7th hour until their bus number or car tag number is called.

Open House/ Parent University Aug 22 & 27

Supplies:

• Students should bring paper, a folder or binder, and a pen or pencil on the first day of school.
• They can bring their additional supplies if they have room, but the rest can be brought over the following days.
• Many supplies will be stored in core classes. Teachers will provide specific instructions on what to keep and what to turn in.

Bus Riders:

• Ensure your child knows their bus number to find the correct bus after school.
• Expect buses to run late for morning pick-up and afternoon drop-off during the first few days. Please be patient as the schedule improves within the first week.

School Hours:

• The school day runs from 8:10 AM to 3:05 PM.
• Do not drop your student off earlier than 7:35 AM, as there is no adult supervision available before this time.

• Drop-off Location: Students should be dropped off at the back of the school. Please refer to the map for detailed directions.
• Important: Do not drop off students at the front of the school, as that area is designated for buses only.

More than 30 percent of families in Mustang Public Schools qualify for the Free and Reduced Lunch program. We encourage all parents, even those who think they might not qualify, to apply for this essential program. The application process is confidential and plays a vital role in securing funding for our classrooms.

The online application is designed to be safe, secure, private, and convenient. Your information will be transmitted to the Child Nutrition Office the same day you apply, ensuring faster processing and quicker access to benefits.
