If you signed up to bring items for the luncheon on Monday, December 16, please have items to the school by 10:00 AM. If you signed up for donuts on December 17, the office opens at 7:30, so you can drop them off as you drop your kids off. Also, there are a few items remaining if anyone would like to help with breakfast or lunch! The PTO Board says Thank you all so much for helping provide for our teachers!

Looking for something free to do over the holiday break? Go to the Sheridan Recreation Center and take a stroll on the Story Trail featuring The Biggest Christmas Tree Ever. This is a great activity to get kids outside and moving while engaging in a great holiday story.

Congratulations to all of our class spelling bee winners that participated in the SIS School Spelling Bee! Congratulations to our winners: 1st Place-Toby Borders, 2nd Place-Cash Mercer, 3rd Place-Averie Fitzhugh! Great job!! Thank you, Amy Casey, for organizing a great spelling bee!

Our 4th Grade did an amazing job in their performance of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas! A huge shout-out to Mrs. Sandy for putting together an awesome performance!

Sheridan Intermediate School received the distinguished honor of being designated as an Arkansas Children's Hospital Heart Safe Project ADAM school. Months of hard work have finally paid off. This designation, certified by Mr. Charles Wooley, with ACH, has deemed the crisis team at SIS as being able to meet all the requirements needed to save a life by providing high-quality CPR and efficient in using an AED.

Just a friendly reminder that we are a peanut/tree-nut free campus. This includes all items brought in lunch boxes and snacks!

If you are riding the bus for the first time or even a previous bus rider, remember our expectations of the bus.

We had a great week at SIS! We spent a lot of time going over behavior expectations. We are excited and ready for a great year!
