Dear River Mill Families,
We have several exciting events coming up at River Mill! We will be hosting our Fall Family Bingo Night on Thursday, September 19th at 6:00pm. If you have not arleady, please get your HomeTown Tickets for this event. More information and details are included in the flyer below. We are excited for the fun we will have together!
Now that we have settled into our routines and procedures at school, we are diving into the work! We are here to help your child grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Teachers have worked hard to understand each child's strengths and areas of growth. Now that this information is available, our instructional routines will really help your child achieve! You might even hear your child tell you about some goal setting they are doing as a class, and also for themselves. We encourage you to ask your child specific questions about their goals for this year!
One of our biggest fundraisers that puts money directly back into the classrooms is coming up on Thursday, October 3rd. Information will be coming home with your child next week about our upcoming Jog-a-Thon! We ask families who are willing to support their child to collect pledges. This year, pledges can be collected online and in person. This is an extremely fun event and we would love volunteers to help as well. If you are interested, please be in touch with your child's teacher. Our school Jog-a-thon pledge page is located at www.99pledges.com/fund/rivermille. This Week's Schedule!
In order to help you all know what the week looks like, we will list it out clearly for you each week. REID days for are invited students and will change each week. Students are invited to REID days for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it's to extend or challenge a student, and other times it might be to provide extra help on a particular skill. On those days, our doors open at 7:50 and dismissal is at 10:00am. If you have questions about this week's schedule, please let us know!

FOR ALL FAMILIES: TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
To ensure the safety of all our students, we ask that all families use the PickUp Patrol app to inform us of their child's daily transportation plans. Please make sure you have set up your child's plans for the first day of school and for the rest of the school year. This is an essential step for the first day of school. You can update these plans at any time! Registration emails were sent earlier this week.

My School Bucks is an online payment service that provides parents the ability to securely pay for meals, monitor student cafeteria purchases, and receive email notifications for low account balances. Please note: currently, a convenience fee will be applied for each transaction. All transactions are processed and applied to students' accounts nightly.
