🌺¡Muchísimas gracias a todos los padres que se tomaron el tiempo para celebrarme el Día de la Directora! Sus cálidas notas, correos electrónicos, regalos y palabras sinceras me alegraron el corazón. Los abrazos y las sonrisas de nuestros Pandas fueron lo mejor de mi día, como todos los días. Me siento increíblemente afortunada de formar parte de una comunidad escolar tan cariñosa y solidaria.

Espero verlos a todos en la tarde de visita a la Escuela (Open House) este jueves 8 de mayo; las puertas abren a las 5:30PM. Nuestros maestros y maestras están emocionados de mostrar el increíble trabajo que han logrado sus Pandas. ¡Estamos muy orgullosos de ellos!

🌺Thank you so much to all the parents who took the time to celebrate me on Principal’s Day! Your warm notes, kind emails, thoughtful gifts, and heartfelt words truly made my heart smile. The hugs and smiles from our Pandas were the highlight of my day—as they are every day. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a caring and supportive school community.

I’m looking forward to seeing you all at Open House this Thursday, May 8th—doors open at 5:30 PM. Our maestras and maestros are excited to showcase all the amazing work your Pandas have accomplished. We are so proud of them!

This past Thursday, the winners of our Women’s History Month contest and the students who passed the most i-Ready lessons during March Math Madness enjoyed a fun and educational day at the Discovery Cube with Directora Rizzo! A special highlight was when Jonathan Cisneros-Dilley, our 1st place essay winner, lit up with excitement upon seeing a display honoring Katherine Johnson—the very subject of his winning essay. Katherine Johnson was a brilliant mathematician. Our Pandas had a well-deserved celebration filled with learning, laughter, and inspiration! 🐼✨

El jueves pasado, los ganadores de nuestro concurso del Mes de la Historia de la Mujer y los estudiantes que aprobaron la mayor cantidad de lecciones de i-Ready durante la Locura Matemática de Marzo disfrutaron de un día divertido y educativo en el Cubo del Descubrimiento con la Directora Rizzo. Un momento especial fue cuando Jonathan Cisneros-Dilley, nuestro ganador del primer lugar en el ensayo, se iluminó de emoción al ver una exhibición en honor a Katherine Johnson, la misma protagonista de su ensayo ganador. Katherine Johnson fue una brillante matemática. ¡Nuestros Pandas tuvieron una merecida celebración llena de aprendizaje, risas e inspiración! 🐼✨

Directora Rizzo warmly invites you to Parents' Night Out as we celebrate the upcoming end of another incredible Panda School Year. It’s a wonderful opportunity to relax, have some fun, and connect with our amazing Panda parents and community. Feel free to invite friends or family. For those who need it, child care will be available at SR with two of our fantastic school aides, Pj and Movie Night for the Pandas, so parents can enjoy a fun evening out. Looking forward to seeing you there!

La Directora Rizzo los invita cordialmente a la Noche de Padres para celebrar el fin de otro increíble Año Escolar Panda. Es una oportunidad maravillosa para relajarse, divertirse y conectar con nuestros increíbles padres y la comunidad Panda. No duden en invitar a sus amigos o familiares. Para quienes lo necesiten, habrá cuidado de niños disponible en SR con dos de nuestros fantásticos auxiliares escolares, Noche de Pijamas y Cine para los Pandas, para que los padres puedan disfrutar de una divertida noche. ¡Esperamos verlos allí!

¡Felicitaciones a nuestros increíbles alumnos de 5.º grado por una presentación verdaderamente mágica de El Mago de Oz! Las tres funciones agotaron todas las entradas, y nuestros Pandas deslumbraron al público con su talento, energía y corazón. Su increíble actuación me hizo llorar; ¡hicieron un trabajo fantástico! No me sorprendería ver a algunos de ellos en la pantalla grande algún día; su talento fue realmente inspirador. Muchísimas gracias a la Ms. Emily, nuestra maravillosa directora del musical, y a todos los padres voluntarios que dedicaron su tiempo y apoyo para que este musical fuera un éxito memorable. ¡Bravo, Pandas! 👏🐼

Congratulations to our amazing 5th graders for a truly magical performance of The Wizard of Oz! All three shows were completely sold out, and our Pandas wowed the audience with their talent, energy, and heart. Their incredible performance brought tears to my eyes, they did a fantastic job! I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of them on the big screen one day, the talent was truly inspiring. A huge THANK YOU to Ms. Emily, our wonderful director, and to all the parent volunteers who gave their time and support to make this musical such a memorable success. Bravo, Pandas! 👏🐼

El Club de Corredores empezó el viernes pasado y seguiremos reuniéndonos los lunes y viernes de 7:30 a 7:45 en el patio de recreo superior durante todo el mes de mayo. ¡Muchas gracias a todos nuestros padres voluntarios por coordinar este fantástico evento! ¡Es la manera perfecta de mantener sanos los cuerpos y las mentes de nuestros pandas! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The Running Club kicked off last Friday, and we’ll continue to meet on Mondays and Fridays from 7:30 AM to 7:45 AM in the upper playground area throughout the month of May. A huge thank you to all our parent volunteers for coordinating this fantastic event, it’s the perfect way to keep our Pandas’ bodies and minds healthy! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

¡Comenzamos nuestro concurso de camisetas de pandas de San Rafael! El diseño del ganador aparecerá en el Panda Wear del próximo año. Todos los detalles están en el folleto adjunto. Todos los estudiantes de preescolar a 5to grado pueden enviar su diseño. ¡El último día para someter un diseño es el 16 de mayo!
