HAVE A BLESSED THANKSGIVING BREAK
The Staff at Jackson wishes you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving. We look forward to seeing all of our students beautiful faces when we return in December.
As the weather gets colder, we would like to remind families to make sure to send your students to bus and or to school dressed for the weather. Shorts are especially concerning since there is a great deal of skin exposed and as our 3rd graders are learning about the body, skin is the body's largest organ and can be damaged if exposed to cold temps for long periods of time. Our clinic has a very limited supply of extra pants and those are for emergency purposes.
If at any time you have a question or concern, please feel free to reach out to me at 740-928-1915 or at bacline@lakewoodlocal.k12.oh.us.
Mrs. Beth Cline
HOLIDAY PARTIES ARE DECEMBER 20TH
We will be holding our annual holiday parties in the afternoon on the 20th. Homeroom teachers will be sending out information about what is needed in their DOJOs.
YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE AWARD!
The “You Make A Difference” Award essay contest is to recognize and honor a teacher for his/her outstanding effort in making a difference in the lives of students. Students are to write an essay about a teacher who has made a difference in his/her life. Within the essay, students should identify who the teacher is and how he/she made a difference to that student or to a group of students. Essays are due to Mrs. Cline by no later than December 11th, Essays will be reviewed by our local committee. The student and teacher will be invited to a reception on March 13, 2024 at C-TEC. Papers will be given to students when they return from Thanksgiving break.
