HOME OF THE EXPLORERS

Hello, Lake Ridge family!

September is here and bringing many of our favorite fall community activities! Our Explorers have settled into new routines and have completed beginning of the year assessments. Now, we are digging into the 1st quarter standards and focusing on your child's specific areas of growth. Teachers will be reaching out to schedule parent/teacher conferences. Please make sure to attend this important meeting with your child's teacher so that you can partner in the educational efforts focused on your child.

We are excited to be bringing back Fall Festival! Please join us this Friday, September 6th from 5:00-8:00. This week is Spirit Week! Check the schedule below.

Our book fair is also right around the corner!

I wanted to extend my sincerest gratitude for the generosity you have shown as PTA stocked the lounge for our teachers! Thank you so much. Lake Ridge families are the best!

Important Info: Safety Spotlights

Thank you for helping us prioritize safety for students with the requirement of dismissal tags and walker and car line locations. If you are in need of additional tags, please email your child's teacher and we will get those to you.

Please note the carline traffic pattern begins by turning left at the bottom of the neighborhood and circling Lake Ridge Square from the left side.

Dropping students off in the front parking lot is unsafe. Please use the carline or pull into a parking space.

Please leave the accessible spaces open for families with an accessibility tag.

As you leave the parking lot, please utilize turning right and going straight to prevent a delay in the flow of traffic at the entrance of the school.

Breakfast Menu This Week:

Tuesday 9/3: Cinnamon Roll, Orange Juice, Fruit Cup, Milk

Wednesday 9/4: Waffle, Banana, Craisins, Milk

Thursday 9/5: Pancake on a Stick, Applesauce, Orange Juice, Milk

Friday 9/6: Donut Holes, Banana, Fruit Cup, Milk

The cafeteria will have ice cream for sale this Friday for 75 cents. Students will need to bring money or have money in their account.

Spanish Speaking Night at Science Hill High School

Johnson City Schools will be hosting an information night in Spanish on Tuesday, September 3rd at 6:00 at Science Hill High School. Questions about ParentSquare, medication assistance, administration policies, food services, and much more will be answered in Spanish.
