School Schedule Changes

No School: There is no school Monday, September 2, due to the national holiday, Labor Day. Our Calendar at a Glance provides families with a year-long overview of changes in the students' daily attendance routine.


Late Arrival: Thursday, September 12, is the first of four late arrival days for D103 students during the 2024-2025 school year. Other scheduled late arrival days are on:

  • Thursday, October 10

  • Thursday, March 13

  • Thursday, April 10


Late arrival days allow our teachers and staff extended time to collaborate on instructional planning and professional development to improve student learning.


Students start school 90 minutes later than their normal start time, which means buses will arrive 90 minutes later than their typical arrival time. Early childhood students do not attend school on late arrival days.


Late Arrival Times for Schools

Sprague School

  • Sprague School starts at 9:45 a.m.

  • Please do not drop students off at school before 9:30 a.m.

  • Early Childhood students do not attend school on Late Arrival Days.


Half Day School

  • School starts at 10:30 a.m.

  • Please do not drop students off at school before 10:10 a.m.


Daniel Wright Junior High School

  • School starts at 10:00 a.m.

  • Please do not drop students off at school before 9:35 a.m.
